He chased my car with a gun in his hand. When the police stopped him he had a gun on the seat, a knife in the door and pot in his pocket. He was released after lying that he never pulled the gun and showing his gun permit. I sometimes wonder if I would be alive today if I had driven into a dead end street instead of a police station parking lot. So while you consider the possibility of being shot by a thug who is illegally carrying a gun, remember that there are crazy people who carry guns legally too.
