A funeral in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, had us on the road for over 10 hours this weekend. Before heading home, we stopped by Lake Michigan.

Cut the Red Wire?

So, the middle switch needed to be replaced. Easy right? First, find the correct breaker to turn off. In this case, it was two--which left me in complete (basement) darkness. The rest of the process, reminded me of those bomb defusing scenes in the movies!

American Lotus!

Packing up the canoe and fishing gear takes some time. The 2 mile drive to the closest lake does not. But we had fun. The Bald Eagle that we saw a few times passed overhead too quickly for a picture. But the American Water Lotus plants were absolutely stunning!
