I'm thinking that it might have been a strategic error for the Republicans to allow their presidential nominee to speak at the Convention of Black Journalists. While it's true that most of Trump's supporters are not going to be swayed from supporting him--regardless of what he says or does, some more moderate voters could take notice. Perhaps next time, the former president should be steered toward a less diverse demographic for his future speaking engagements. I must admit, however, that I am looking forward to any future presidential debates.

Okay we watched them debate. One is a compulsive liar with an unsubstantiated flurry of words that he thinks provide proof. Anyone of reasonable intelligence can see through this with relative ease. The other one, is obviously suffering from age-related cognitive impairment. I'm afraid we can't accept your proposals. Please go back and get your teams together and have some new candidates' files on my desk by Monday morning.

There is a rerun of "Dumb and Dumber" on tonight!

Once upon a time, political candidates would debate, in order to show their position, intelligence and understanding of issues. Today, one candidate refuses to debate, because he lacks intelligence and understanding, and his position changes with the wind. Yet, despite the lack of participation, he wins in the polls--supported by a segment of the population driven by the paranoid intolerance that this one candidate represents.

Biden : You need to get control of the pandemic.  Trump : You're dumb.  Biden : We need to ensure affordable health care for all.  Trump : You're a loser.  Biden : I will work to unite the country.  Trump : The country is in great shape! If you vote for Sleepy Joe, you're voting for disaster.  

I understand that Joe Biden must pick a woman of color as his running mate for President. This is an absolutely fantastic idea; except that it doesn't go nearly far enough. There are still underrepresented groups that should be included in this process. I suggest that not only it should be a woman of color, but also be a non-Christian, GLBQT and perhaps disabled person. If we ever want to prove to the world that we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation or disability, we need to find a person with the correct demographics to run with the old, rich, liberal white guy, against the other old, unimaginably wealthy, conservative white guy.

Post debate analysts say that CuTRis won last evening's presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump (sniff)—even though CuTRis was not present and did not answer any questions. Although not actually being at the debate and having not answered any of the questions, CuTRis is still considered far more likeable than either candidate—and so has taken a sizeable lead in the polls.

In all my years on this Earth, as a citizen of these United States, I can’t remember a Presidential election that featured a party’s nominee who was so disliked by his own political party! My prediction of what would happen if Donald Trump were nominated by the Republican Party was only partly correct. I thought that in an election, Trump would lose soundly to the (to any) Democratic opponent. In reality, however, this may not be the case. It seems that there are an awful lot of gun waving people who are sick of political correctness—and I get that. Political Correctness as a whole, has fallen off the deep end—into an abyss of hysteria and jumbled "facts." In essence, it is running out-of-control and is borderline insane. Most people (especially white people) are afraid to acknowledge this deviation from the actual truth—and even if some know better it is a method to push an agenda. I'm going to just go ahead and say that this presidential election is an embarrassment. There are no really good candidates. Donald Trump has hijacked the Republican Party—and apparently there are a lot of unhappy right-wingers who are supporting him. On the Democratic side, there is an aging socialist who appeals to the young people—who aren't likely to look at all the fallout from his particular brand of politics. It might look good at the surface, but underneath it is likely to cause a whole new set of problems. There is also Hillary Clinton who might have the skills, but is pulling around a lot of baggage from the past that might make trusting her difficult—though trusting any politician may be difficult if you think on it. So, none of these candidates would be my first choice. But when has the public ever gotten to pick the original candidates? Sure, we can vote for the last remaining millionaires but that first group just "pops" up somehow. It would sure be nic...

Do Over! I sure wish we could do that with the presidential election! Not because I want to go through it all over again—but because I really don't like any of the candidates. Why do I always have to vote for the one I dislike the least? And when do we get to have a candidate who represents the hard-working people of middle-America?

Trump Wins Debate UnAssociated Press January 29, 2016 Though Donald Trump was not at the GOP Presidential debate yesterday , he still won! Undeniably, Mr. Trump sounded smarter and more likeable when he wasn't there; than if he had attended. Furthermore, it should be (but isn't) plain to everyone that if Trump is faced with unpleasant people or situations as President, he will likely just skip the debate or conference and have his own by himself. This will be a good strategy for America—and will show the rest of the world how cooperative the USA is. It seems that no matter what Trump does, there are enough angry right-wing conservatives to prove that he is always right! Hopefully, Donald Trump will miss more events—as it can only serve to increase his popularity when he is absent!

Donald Trump will not be participating in the GOP Presidential debate on Fox News tomorrow night . Even though Fox TV is the most conservative venue, it seems that Trump does not like Megyn Kelly . Since Kelly will be one of the moderators, Trump is going to take his toys and go home! Good for you Mr. Trump! Now we know how you will handle uncomfortable situations that might come up if you become President!

CuTRis Wins GOP Debate UnAssociated Press December 16, 2015 Even though he wasn't actually there, CuTRis is said by many that he won last night's GOP debate in Las Vegas. Apparently CuTRis called Jeb Bush's cell phone during the debate (Jeb had forgotten to turn it off), and CuTRis could be heard telling Jeb that Trump was fired! The move apparently endeared CuTRis to enough liberal analysts, that he was declared the winner of last night's debate.

Big Bird Leading in Polls! UnAssociated Press October 23, 2012 The numbers out after last night's presidential debate, shows that Sesame Street's Big Bird is clearly leading in the polls. Furthermore it is speculated that the 8'2" yellow bird is talking to CuTRis about being his running mate . When asked, CuTRis had this to say. "I am interested," CuTRis said. "In fact, I don't think there has ever been a big, gay , yellow bird in the White House before!" The interviewer responded that he wasn't sure that Big Bird was gay. "He isn't?" replied CuTRis . "Oh... I guess that I thought he was... Not that there's anything wrong with that! Regardless," continued CuTRis , "I would consider it an honor if Big Bird asked me to be his running mate for the presidential election."

CuTris Wins Presidential Debate UnAssociated Press October 4, 2012 Though Cutris did not actually participate in last night’s debate between President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney, he has been deemed the ‘clear winner,’ by a number of polls. Cutris ran for President in the 2008 election, and was defeated by a narrow margin by current President, Barack Obama. While not actually being present at the debate, most analysts think that Cutris was more believable, more poised, and more to-the-point than either the Republican challenger or the Democratic President. When Cutris was asked about his apparent win, he seemed somewhat surprised (since he had not been at the debate), but then he said, “Yeah, I probably won. It sounds like something I would do.”
