Here's a text exchange with a couple of my friends. My replies are in green. I also think I was able to identify the issue that keeps a lot of people from voting for Kamala--even though she is the only politician named here, who has her full cognitive ability.

Okay we watched them debate. One is a compulsive liar with an unsubstantiated flurry of words that he thinks provide proof. Anyone of reasonable intelligence can see through this with relative ease. The other one, is obviously suffering from age-related cognitive impairment. I'm afraid we can't accept your proposals. Please go back and get your teams together and have some new candidates' files on my desk by Monday morning.

There is an unfortunate problem in the United States of America , with knowing, telling and believing the truth . While it is generally not talked about, poverty in the USA is the 4th leading cause of death . When so many other countries have successfully implemented national healthcare , why does the USA not have it? One of the main arguments against it, seems to be that it takes too long to get appointments to see a doctor when you need one. Since it regularly takes two months to see a doctor (often longer for a specialist), now , in the United States, I call BS on that argument. Some countries even have free or reduced cost for college educations ! Not in the USA though. The "richest country in the world," seems to only apply to a small fraction of the US population. In fact, if the US government sees you as below the poverty line , you are in pretty bad shape. So, the issue in America, is that corporations tend to dictate to the politicians, and the politicians then ...

As the USA comes ever closer to a rematch between two presidential candidates who are both unfit, and both too self-centered to put the country ahead of their personal desires, I have to ask... "who is driving?" While the country appears to be polarized into ridiculously extremes of liberal and conservatism, I don't believe that many people would agree, that our best and brightest are in the running for the top job. So, how come we can't get real, quality candidates? Am I to believe that after the last shit-show of an election, the same two "grouchy old men" are still the best we've got??? So what if the elections are fair and every ballot is counted? When the only choices are bad and worse, it seems that the 2-party system has left us with once again, not choosing the best candidate for the job, but rather, the one who isn't as bad as the other one. I've been saying for years, that Trump has become the poster child for the paranoid backlash from liberalism that has gotten too extreme. Both the conservatives and liberals have hijacked the two political parties in the USA. In order to get votes, the politicians have had to embrace these extremes. Yet, the scary thing is, that these two polarized extremes don't represent the majority of Americans. After first blaming Ukraine, Russia now is blaming the US. Ukraine says the attack was staged by Russia. This just in! Russia is (now) blaming Biden, Biden is blaming Putin, Putin is blaming Zelenskyy, and more recently, Baby Yoda has been implicated, but he said, "Ask Big Bird you should!"

CuTRis Beats Self for Mentioning Breakfast Burritos UnAssociated Press July 12, 2022 After learning that Jill Biden was accused of being insensitive for comparing Latinos to Breakfast Tacos, CuTRis beat the crap out of himself, because he admitted to talking about making Breakfast Burritos earlier that day. CuTRis went on to say, that he did not realize that talking about breakfast food that was often attributed to certain ethnic groups was so insensitive. From his hospital bed, CuTRis vowed to try to be more politically correct in the future.
