The irony of what is about to happen to rural America, and the small-town people who have been supporting Donald Trump, is that the federal money that historically propped up their infrastructure is being pulled away. While some people applauded as programs to help minorities and immigrants were repealed, the social programs subsidizing such things as rural healthcare, media and education have now been targeted. This is further evidence that many people were fooled by a liar who used their own prejudices against them. What will be more interesting, is if these same people will be able to recognize their mistake as things begin to go bad for them.

Sometimes things get screwed up and nobody can help it. But this time, it's because of Donald J. Trump. The economy is tanking and the USA is sinking. It's due to one person and his band of mighty idiot followers.

What we have now under Trump in the USA, is that sick racist sexist crap that has been whispered forever and I can remember hearing it occasionally throughout my childhood. As an adult, I thought it was mostly gone, but it exists in especially rural areas. Those places where diversity does not really exist, seem to foster the most resentment against people who are different. That crap has spewed up and become normal now. It's shameful. While I'm the first to admit that liberalism got out of hand a few years ago, what's happening now is wrong, it's shameful and it really sucks. But there are still a lot of people who still think this is good. Their resentment has clouded the reality of the entirety of America being swallowed up by the rich and unscrupulous. I've been saying for years, that Trump has become the poster child for the paranoid backlash from liberalism that has gotten too extreme. Both the conservatives and liberals have hijacked the two political parties in the USA. In order to get votes, the politicians have had to embrace these extremes. Yet, the scary thing is, that these two polarized extremes don't represent the majority of Americans. It's easy to blame the repeal of reproductive rights on men, or racism on Caucasians; but it's not that simple. In doing so, you become like the thing you say you despise. People are people regardless of gender or skin color. Some support your position and some don't. Those ideas are not exclusive to a particular gender or racial demographic. In fact, you may be alienating some of your supporters by perpetuating these ideas.

I keep hearing snippets about Republicans who are condemning interracial marriage ; which is something my wife and I have a stake in. So first, I’d like to point out that once we achieve a racial mix like, say, Cuba, with lots of mixed families and mixed people, it will be a whole lot harder to judge others based on their race. Because let’s face it, the liberal method of forcing equality doesn’t work very well. Interracial families are created by choice and by love, so that’s why it works. And finally, what will Clarence Thomas and Mitch McConnell do if their marriages are made illegal? Likely this will be more about “pick and choose” politics—like how unborn children should have more rights than their mothers; or how living children can become living targets for people whose rights to possess and carry deadly weapons needs to be protected.

Racism is not exclusive to one particular race against another. Make no mistake, racism is wrong regardless of the race of the people involved.
