Trump Ended 99,007 Wars UnAssociated Press September 23, 2025 McDonald Trump has just stunned the world, with his latest boast of nonsensical numbers--that he's stopped 99,007... wait... 99,010 wars. How does he do it? The math makes no sense, the words contain no truth, or even logic, and yet he still has a(n albeit shrinking), legion of followers. Give him his due, his imaginary world, boasts imaginary accomplishments, the likes of none ever recorded in the general reality. And stop with the hate speech everyone! That is reserved only, for Trump and his merry band of underachievers.

Sometimes things get screwed up and nobody can help it. But this time, it's because of Donald J. Trump. The economy is tanking and the USA is sinking. It's due to one person and his band of mighty idiot followers.

It's not one way or the other. It's both, and neither. That's too complicated of a concept for mortal humans. I can see it. But so many can't. There is no one right, and no one wrong.

In my dream I'm packing. It's reminiscent of my time in Boy Scouts packing for camping trips. Only I'm packing for war. I think it's Vietnam. That was the war when I was a little kid. That was what I thought was going to happen when I grew up. It's funny, we don't think about it that much anymore, but Vietnam changed our lives as sure as covid-19. Even my immediate family was indirectly created by that war. My wife's family fled from Laos when she was a small child. Many years later, we met and got married and had our son. But why do I still dream of that fate that never transpired? Why do I still dream about going to war? I suppose it could be that there is a war in the news all the time. Plus, there is a war in our streets as mass shootings have outnumbered the days of the year. There is a war in our government, in our politics, and an attempt to take over our democracy. There are the continued excuses about guns not killing people, that people are killing...

While I was watching the news, My son (5th grade) asked me if we were heading for World War III. I can remember growing up, thinking that I was going to end up drafted and in a war (Vietnam was in the news at that time). I asked him what he knew about WWI and WWII. Then I decided he needed a crash course (of history). I found the answer on YouTube.com. These are both informative and entertaining. He has since watched several others in the series. Sometimes when I'm sitting on my patio grilling dinner and having a beer, I can almost forget that the United States Supreme Court does not represent My Views. I can almost forget the two party system is broken. I can almost forget that there is a war across the world that could turn into world war three. I can almost forget that we aren't still in a pandemic even though everyone seems to act like it's over. I can almost forget that the United States almost became another authoritarian dictatorship. Almost...

Of course, my observations about how much more things are costing me, are much ado about nothing when you consider that Ukrainian civilians have been tortured and shot with their hands tied behind their backs by invading Russian soldiers.
