It’s interesting to analyze how we got to the point of having a dictator and oligarchy in the USA. Donald J. Trump is simultaneously exhibiting authoritarian attributes, and mental instability or possibly age-related mental degeneration. This combined with his crimes against women, underhanded business dealings and a support base of paranoid, racist followers, has created a very dangerous dynamic. But it wasn’t more than just a few years ago, I lost liberal friends because I would not be as liberal as they demanded me to be. I still supported law enforcement during the George Floyd trauma, though it was tragic that Floyd was killed and some rookie officers were politically sacrificed in the process. I was completely in favor of any form of domestic partnerships having the same rights as marriage—but against calling it “marriage,” when same-sex. Imagine if someone with access to a lot of money could cause the stock market to crash, like just for an example, if they could impose tariffs. Then, that person and others like him, could buy up a lot of stocks cheaply. Then if that same person could undo the tariffs and the stock market went back up, they would stand to gain a lot of money. It sure is a good thing for the rest of us who aren't billionaires, that no one has thought to do this.

How handing out million dollar checks to buy an election is legal, I cannot understand. But some people don't have a soul, and no matter how much money they have, they cannot buy one. If there are still people who don't think that billionaires are buying the government for their own purposes, think hard about this one election for a judge seat in the state of Wisconsin. The one thing I do understand, is that enough good people had the decency to say no to this hostile takeover.

What we have now under Trump in the USA, is that sick racist sexist crap that has been whispered forever and I can remember hearing it occasionally throughout my childhood. As an adult, I thought it was mostly gone, but it exists in especially rural areas. Those places where diversity does not really exist, seem to foster the most resentment against people who are different. That crap has spewed up and become normal now. It's shameful. While I'm the first to admit that liberalism got out of hand a few years ago, what's happening now is wrong, it's shameful and it really sucks. But there are still a lot of people who still think this is good. Their resentment has clouded the reality of the entirety of America being swallowed up by the rich and unscrupulous. If you are confused by the actions of Donald Trump, because he says one thing and does another, you're not alone. If the back and forth of who is fired, tariffs, no tariffs, has you confused, we all are. If you wonder why Trump put an immigrant in charge of firing people in the government, that's a very good question. So, according to multiple news sources, the Trump Administration is planning to deal with the high cost of eggs, by vaccinating chickens instead of killing them. Of course, the irony is, that the same administration was/ is advocating against vaccinations for human beings. So, while vaccinations are supposedly bad for people, it's okay to directly add them to our food source. Even more striking, is how regardless of all of this hypocritical and contrary disinformation, there is still support for all of this destructive stupidity. One last thing, if the government is going to step in and save the chickens, will there need to be government employees to do that? Perhaps there could be a department of chicken efficiency?

While the legality of the Department of Government Efficiency that Trump and Musk madeup is still in question, immigrant, Elon Musk, has been given access to the government payment system which includes Social Security. So much for keeping us safe from immigrants.
