What company can quote you a price, then charge 138% of that estimate and then slip in another charge from someone you never met, who did something you never agreed to? Welcome to healthcare in the USA! In the example I just gave, it was HealthPartners. The insurance was HealthPartners. The clinic was HealthPartners. I would expect, that they could provide an accurate estimate. But no. The one thing that they could provide, is when I went through the appeal process regarding my bill, the appeal was handled by, and denied by HealthPartners. What other business can do this? It hardly seems legal. Yes, healthcare is broken in the USA. And, it's getting worse not better.

We just returned from rural Minnesota. There were lots of Mike Lindell for governor signs. It's good to be back in the Twin Cities, where I have not seen any pillow guy signage.

Doctor Fauci did a good job. If you hate him, it's almost certainly because he's smarter than you are.

Just imagine the cognitive dissonance of being able to see fraud if it can can be connected to somali immigrants, yet being completely oblivious to much larger fraud being committed continuously by the President of the United States and his allies.

Even though I vote in all of the main elections, I must admit that I rarely vote in the primaries. I guess it's because you have to vote a straight party ticket, and I'm not tied to either party. But this year, one candidate in the senate race has chosen to run a negative campaign and lie, rather than focus on her own position. The message has worked to get me into the polls, but not in the way this candidate was hoping it would.

We pay a shit-ton in taxes, AND our healthcare is super expensive. Yet, Trump gets free healthcare, and doesn't pay taxes. It's not the immigrants who are stealing your money...
