Yesterday someone told me to go take a hike. So, today I did. It was a great idea! Snowstorm a week ago, 78°F yesterday, 37°F at the time of the hike... So, I had to eat on the trail.  

Mom has moved, and has been giving me bundles of things from her house. I gave this split picture to my dad 20 years ago. He was always ready to show his amazing strength, and sense of humor. Here, he is lifting a rock cliff, near the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern United States. I am merely carrying a small tree on my shoulder in the Minnesota River bottoms.

A funeral in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, had us on the road for over 10 hours this weekend. Before heading home, we stopped by Lake Michigan.
