If you are one of the people who still supports Trump and his destruction of our democracy, don't you feel somewhat embarrassed? Why are you supporting this billionaire, who is making it easier for his billionaire friends to take your money? Are you uneasy about the president siding with Russian Dictator, Vladymyr Putin? I am! Look, I get it, the Democrats pushed their liberal agenda too far and you don't like it. So, the "master deal negotiator," Donald Trump, was going to try to extort $500 billion worth of mineral rights from Ukraine. There wasn't much in it for Ukraine, except Volodymyr Zelenskyy was going to do it if he could get some assurances of security for his country. At that point, Trump could not resist being a bully and talking down to a superior leader and human being. As a result, Zelenskyy did what any reasonable person would do, and left without signing the deal. Thus, the "great deal maker," Donald J. Trump, got nothing except World condemnation and confirmation that he's a useful idiot for Vladimir Putin.

The most fascinating thing about the January 6 Hearings, is not the bullying and deceit. Most reasonable people already knew that was happening. The true revelation is that the USA was well on its way to having an authoritarian dictator who would break laws and abuse trust to stay in power. This is also how Putin and others have remained in power. But the truly heartbreaking fact is, that regardless of the truth coming out, there are still legions of followers who will willingly follow Trump to hell. This should scare anyone, regardless of your opinions on issues or whether you tend to be liberal or conservative. Living under an authoritarian ruler is not something anyone should want.

Of course, my observations about how much more things are costing me, are much ado about nothing when you consider that Ukrainian civilians have been tortured and shot with their hands tied behind their backs by invading Russian soldiers.

Russia is split politically, just like the USA. Some support the big lie, and others are devastated by what's happening. This is why we have to never allow a selfish tyrant access to our highest political office. The fate of the world cannot be dictated by madmen.
