It's always interesting to listen to the spin put on to stupid and illegal actions by our government, under the most corrupt, dumb, and brown-nosing administration in American history. This morning, I listened as Marco Rubio avoided answering the questions from George Stephanopoulos, repeatedly. And he spilled their hand by what was said between the lines, when he told George that Venezuela needs private oil companies to go in and administer the oil for the people of Venezuela so that it is not solely for the benefit of a few rich individuals. That is exactly what this Trump, Venezuelan, illegal action is about. Pretty much, everyone knows that Nicolas Maduro is a crook and a heartless authoritarian, much like what we have in the White House in the USA. But it was never about drugs, as we should know when Trump pardoned the former President of Honduras, after he was convicted of drug dealing on a huge scale. This is about oil, and about a few billionaires controlling the oil companies. It's not particularly well-thought-out, because neither the oil itself nor the infrastructure in Venezuela is very much good without huge investments. Those investments are likely to come from United States, taxpayers, and any benefits will go to those few billionaires that Marco Rubio assured us was what the Trump/US is trying to avoid. Not only is it lies, it's extremely easy to see the real motives within the bad job of lying. Those who are still supporting Trump are generally doing so because of the belief in the conflict between ethnic and racial groups that they were taught to believe in. Once we can get past this, as many of the more educated people are beginning to do, we will see that this is really a conflict between the obscenely rich, and the rest of us--with the poor being the scapegoat and many of the poor being from those ethnic and racial groups that have been vilified. It's all plainly laid out, if you care to look for yourself. But many people would rather be led by the nose, by billionaires to be sacrificed. It's an effective means of control, when people are kept ignorant, and economically disadvantaged enough, to willingly join the military to tap into benefits otherwise unavailable to them. This continues to ensure that there is the military strength available to the rich politicians who make enormous amounts of money though decisions designed to benefit the rich at the expense of everyone else.
