Colorful Blood Donation

My favorite part of donating blood, is the postcard that tells me where it ultimately went to help someone. My least favorite thing, which happens too often, is when the arm they first stuck and twisted the needle around in, before finding it became bruised and stopped bleeding, hurts for the next week, while the arm that finally gave the blood is fine.
