I understand the conservative point of view. You are concerned that your guns will be taken away. That will not happen. But perhaps guns should have titles like automobiles. I also understand, that Black Lives Matter is not being completely truthful. That organization is only concerned with black deaths at the hands of police officers; and seems unconcerned with any other black, violent deaths. Furthermore, their agenda seems to be to dismantle law enforcement. As the shootings increase, we can see the deadly results. If you know, as I do, that we need law enforcement, this is very concerning. Issues regarding reproduction and choice, seem to me that they are private rather than political issues. But I also see your argument if you are particularly religious in that respect. But America is the land of the free and religious and personal freedom is part of that. I understand the liberal point of view. You are concerned with equality, as am I. Living in a bi-racial, multicultural family...

Once there was a company called Sears. You could use a book, or "catalog" Sears published to select items to purchase. Then you could mail your order with a check or money order to Sears, and your package would be delivered to your house. Eventually, Sears relied on (brick and mortar) stores that people came to, to buy things. Then when everyone was shopping on the Internet, a company called Amazon had items for sale on their website. Customers could select what they wanted to buy and pay with a credit card. Then the package would be delivered to their house. This new idea for selling things eventually put Sears out of business...

I can remember when I was a small child that "made in Japan" meant "cheap junk." Now, made in Japan means it's the good stuff.

Capitalism is not a bad thing. CEO's making 300% more than the other employees is.

 

My compost pit is like one of those surprise grab bags. I never know what is going to grow in there each year. This year it has become a zucchini producing factory.
