I did the "Dry January" thing. This was the second year I did it. The biggest benefit to me, is just knowing I can do it.

I was just cutting up a pineapple. I barely nicked my finger with the knife. It's funny how when knives are really super sharp, when you do that it doesn't bleed for like 5 minutes. Then finally a little bit of blood seeps through. I wonder what would happen if I was able to afford one of those really super expensive knives? Maybe it would start bleeding tomorrow?

My wife was asking me about her snake plant because something was growing in it. I told her that it was about to bloom. She had lots of questions so I told her to Google it. Apparently snake plants rarely bloom. This one used to belong to my mother-in-law before she died. I told my wife that her mom was just saying "hello."

Once upon a time, political candidates would debate, in order to show their position, intelligence and understanding of issues. Today, one candidate refuses to debate, because he lacks intelligence and understanding, and his position changes with the wind. Yet, despite the lack of participation, he wins in the polls--supported by a segment of the population driven by the paranoid intolerance that this one candidate represents.

Vote for CuTRis ! He can turn into a Rhino UnAssociated Press January 23, 2024 The UnAssociated Press has just learned that CuTRis is considering another run for President . Only this time, he claims that he can turn himself into a rhinoceros ! When asked about this outrageous claim, CuTRis spontaneously morphed into a rhino, and galloped away. He was then, subsequently, unavailable for further comment.

I've been saying for years, that Trump has become the poster child for the paranoid backlash from liberalism that has gotten too extreme. Both the conservatives and liberals have hijacked the two political parties in the USA. In order to get votes, the politicians have had to embrace these extremes. Yet, the scary thing is, that these two polarized extremes don't represent the majority of Americans. With the dangerous cold we are experiencing, vulnerable people without adequate shelter should access warm facilities set aside for them, or risk injury or death. If you find yourself in this situation, make sure that you have a subscription to NBC's, Peacock, or you will not be admitted to the shelter and you may die as a result. However, rest assured, if you have a Peacock subscription, you will also be able to watch the NFL playoffs at the shelter.

If the NFL makes it too difficult to watch playoff games without buying subscriptions, etc., I will stop watching. That is exactly what happened when the NHL did the same thing.

Today, we visited the Minnesota Vikings Museum . It was pretty impressive.
