Three children have been shot in Minneapolis in three weeks. 185 people have been shot in Minneapolis in (almost) five months. White police were not responsible for this. On May 2, 2021, in St. Paul, 173 shots were fired in a 3-hour span, injuring seven people. It might be a good time to address the real issue. At least if we want to be truthful that these shootings are unacceptable.

The two party system is broken. Neither one works for middle America. They are preoccupied with fighting each other. Neither is entirely truthful. The more radical one side gets, the more radical the opposition becomes. Politics becomes it's own reality that loses the truth. Politics has been broken in the USA for years. But now it has reached the level where the lies are so easily transparent and yet so recklessly accepted, that it is now more possible than ever to legally elect a madman. An odd number of viable political parties might help. With only two, the vote tends to be for the least of two evils instead of the best candidate. Once elected, the goal is to undo what the other side began.
