The video , now on CNN, is very disturbing. It is disturbing because a man is dying from a gunshot wound. It is disturbing because the officer who shot him is still pointing his weapon at him. It is disturbing because we don't see what happened prior to the fatal shot. We don't see any reason for it; because the video starts after the man has been shot. It is disturbing because it happened close to home. But most disturbing of all, may be that the man's girlfriend was posting it live on Facebook—which I have to say, would not be what I would be doing in her position. In fact, an angry commentary of the whole thing (which while sensationalizing it, CNN also found that they must "bleep" out much of the audio) would not be my primary concern at that moment. Is that what you are supposed to do??? If someone you care about is shot right next to you do you grab your phone and make sure to get it on Facebook? The entire thing is so very disturbing.
