CuTRis Wants to Win Triple Crown

CuTRis Wants to Win Triple Crown UnAssociated Press March 3, 2025 CuTRis wants to win the Triple Crown . The problem is, the Thoroughbred Racing Associations of North America will not allow CuTRis to compete because he is a human. "I should be able to race against the fastest thoroughbreds in the world!" CuTRis was quoted as saying. "They are complaining that I have an unfair advantage, because I only have two legs. But mostly, it's because I have been clocked at speeds of up to 88 miles-per-hour!" Can CuTRis run 142 kilometers-per-hour? Yes, it appears that he can. Opponents of CuTRis ' request, say that people have no business racing against horses. Staunch liberals, however, believe that CuTRis should be allowed to race within the group that he most identifies with. Furthermore, he should not only be allowed to race against horses, but he should be declared the winner if he crosses the finish line first. Likely, there will be much more debate ...

Extremely Dumb

About Lies and Politics

Just to reiterate something I've said before because some people don't seem to understand. If I make a negative comment against either the Democrats or the Republicans, that does not mean I am siding with the opposite. If I make a statement about liberals or conservatives, that is not an endorsement for the other side. Once you go too far either direction, you enter what I consider dumb land. Basically, I think both sides are full of crap. The extremes are filled with people who tell lies for political gain. It is very damaging. The only real truth lies somewhere in between. The current trend is to take 10% of the truth and use it to propagate the 90% of lies. This is why we can't get past race, and we can't get past covid-19. Ask yourself who is benefiting from all of this fighting. It is all political. And some of it is even starting from outside of our borders. If people don't become a little smarter, things are going to start to hurt even more. You can make a po...

Social Hypocrisy

People should understand, that past inequities cannot negate certain demographics from following laws and rules. And those advocating such doctrines are doing no one any favors. On the opposite end, those with lots of money and privilege, are not better than anyone else. Your money and status does not make it right for you to behave badly. Diversity is not just black and white. It's economic, and it's popularity and religious affiliation and so much more. And finally, if we're so concerned about justice, equality and diversity, why is there so little outrage or publicity about the horrific and continued attacks and violence against Asian Americans? We've replaced the previous instigator-in-chief, but the attacks continue. Often perpetrated by people who would protest loudly if such injustices were directed at them. Why is our society so tolerant of attacks on some but not others? Why the hypocrisy?

Time for Truth

Now as the country swings back from the far right, it would be great if it could stop in the middle before swinging to the far left. There is much healing to do, and over compensation won't fix things. Likewise, cheering mediocre accomplishments because it is such a (welcome) change or it is politically correct, will only embolden the opposition to think they are/were correct. The truth has been damaged, but we can (and should) try to reestablish it.

Change Starts at Home

Goodbye Washington Redskins

So after a long history of resisting, the Washington Redskins are finally considering changing what is probably the most racist team name ever. Sometimes it just takes a while...

Joe Biden's Running Mate

I understand that Joe Biden must pick a woman of color as his running mate for President. This is an absolutely fantastic idea; except that it doesn't go nearly far enough. There are still underrepresented groups that should be included in this process. I suggest that not only it should be a woman of color, but also be a non-Christian, GLBQT and perhaps disabled person. If we ever want to prove to the world that we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sexual orientation or disability, we need to find a person with the correct demographics to run with the old, rich, liberal white guy, against the other old, unimaginably wealthy, conservative white guy.

Minnehaha Creek to be Renamed to Schitt Creek

Minnehaha Creek to be Renamed to Schitt Creek UnAssociated Press August 22, 2019 The Department of Renaming Things has decided to rename Minnehaha Creek because the name is offensive to three people from Outer Slobovia. Further research indicates that Minnehaha Creek was discovered by the Schitt family over 12,000 years ago—before the Paleoindians migrated across the Bering Land Bridge . Therefore Minnehaha Creek will be renamed Schitt Creek , in honor of Jedidiah Schitt and all of the other Schitts; sometime next week. In addition, all of the surrounding streets that are currently named after Minnehaha (such as Minnehaha Pkwy), will be named "Schitt" as well. All of the signs below and all of the signs that are located up Schitt Creek will be changed.

Emergency at Bde Maka Ska!

The call came in at 8:52 AM. There was a medical emergency at Bde Maka Ska ! The paramedics were racing down the road with siren on and lights flashing! But to where? "Is it near Lake Calhoun?" asked the driver. "I don't know!" answered his partner. As the paramedics rolled on past the newly erected sign, the bystanders looked on in disbelief!

Liberally Thinking...

After being in the first generation in my family to graduate college, and after paying for the entirety of my college education by working, and after graduating having been offered an interview by the only all black newspaper in the Twin Cities—until I showed up for said interview being an unexpected color, and having worked in situations where I was in the minority in multiple ways and sometimes treated very badly by people who said they were being treated unfairly; or by ultra-liberal people who practiced their own reverse brand of racism, I have naturally developed a skepticism for people who try to turn every issue, into a racial disparity issue. So if you really and truly believe that you succeeded because of a thing called "white privilege," and that you owe everything to an unfair system, then yes, I agree with you that you should give your house and your car to someone who is poor. Personally, after working to pay for my education that I worked hard to study for,...

Did This Life Matter?

http://www.cnn.com/2017/07/05/us/nypd-officer-shooting/index.html Miosotis Familia Formerly, the allegations were that white police officers shoot black men. More recently, it is alleged that police officers shoot black men. The emphasis has so far been placed entirely on the police and not on the reason that black men are shot by police. In this latest example, a black police officer was shot by a black man. This seems to mirror the black on black violence across the entire USA. The questions should be who are the people who are using guns and committing violent crimes and why? If they are disproportionately representative of a certain demographic group, then we should ask why is that? Most of us can see the mugshots of those who are arrested for violent crimes. If these pictures show a particular demographic group more often than others, then again, why? It is only normal for humans, who are able to learn by discriminating between things such as hot and cold or dangerous and...

Which Lives Matter?

I can't help but notice that when a child gets caught in gang crossfire, there is no protest. When an African-American is shot by another African-American, there is no protest. But when a black life is taken by a police officer, people are lying down on the freeway. If I take a step back and look at that picture, it seems that a lot of emphasis is being put on a little symptom of a much larger societal problem. But, that's just my opinion and if I disagree with the protest I might be called a racist. Still, regardless of what "color" the child is (Note* my biracial child says that we are all brown), it breaks my heart when one gets injured or killed. And it hurts my faith in humanity when no one stops (traffic) to cry with me. -KJC

CuTRis Gives a Guy a Pepsi - Everyone is Mad

CuTRis Gives a Guy a Pepsi - Everyone is Mad UnAssociated Press April 6, 2017 CuTRis is in the news again; and this time it is for the biggest scandal yet! Video gone viral shows that he has given a guy a Pepsi! Apparently CuTRis for whatever reason, was walking down the street carrying two cans of Pepsi . He saw a guy who looked thirsty and he gave him one. Cell phone video of the horrific incident soon went viral and civil rights groups, politicians, protesters and whiners of all kinds are calling for CuTRis' resignation from humanity . When reporters asked CuTRis about his miserable deed, he allegedly began handing out Pepsi's from a case he bought at a local convenience store! CuTRis then disappeared before police arrived.

Blatant Racism

I hate to believe that blatant racism still exists, but it does. My friend was telling me about his experience on the light-rail system the other day. He said a guy refused to move his legs so that he could get past to sit down. The same guy refused to let an elderly woman pass as well. Obviously he was looking to start some kind of trouble but neither my friend or the woman fell into his plan. But each time when the guy kept his legs in the way, he loudly said, "White F__k Face!" So yes, I'm sure racism is still a problem.

Edina Police No Longer Allowed to Stop Minorities

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/video-of-black-man-handcuffed-over-walking-in-street-draws-outrage/ http://www.startribune.com/at-edina-city-council-anger-over-police-incident/397532401/ From this point forward in the City of Edina, Minnesota, no police officer shall be allowed to stop any individual who is not classified as Caucasian. All other classifications (who are not Caucasian) shall be allowed to walk, drive or use any source of conveyance on any road (public or private), highway, freeway, yard, building, rooftop, etc. Said individuals are also allowed to freely walk on water if they feel it necessary. They may also act violently/angrily and swear at police officers (and others) if they wish. No non-Caucasian individual should be asked to behave in a reasonable, respectful manner when confronted by police or anyone else—regardless if public safety is compromised or for any reason at all.

Should You Stop Blaming Others?

It seems that there is a constant theme here in America that I am getting tired of. There are a lot of people who don’t want to be responsible and along with that, they want to blame someone else for their bad behavior and the resulting problems. The cast of whiners is large; and includes such groups as Black Lives Matter and even individuals like my brother-in-law who doesn’t like to work. At no time do these people (and many, many others) ever consider that they, themselves, might be responsible for their own successes and failures. Rather, they conclude that by blaming others they can succeed. This is false. And even if this strategy works temporarily because “you” have picked a politically charged or emotional subject in which to base your argument, eventually, even if it takes a long time for the “super politically correct” people to catch on, your true stand will be seen as the trumped up falsity that you have latched onto. In other words, the police did not shoot an unarmed b...

TSA Manager said He was Told to Profile Somalis

http://www.mprnews.org/story/2016/04/27/tsa-manager-says-he-was-told-to-profile-somalis-msp-airport My sense of outrage over this story has been squelched  by the numerous news stories regarding Somalis found guilty of trying to aid ISIS. http://www.startribune.com/feds-charge-another-somali-youth-with-supporting-isil-terrorists/361354001/ In other words, if Swedes were found guilty of aiding ISIS, I would expect that they would be profiled; in order to keep the larger population safe. I'm sorry if this does not sound politically correct, but it seems both practical and logical.

What Happens When You Blame the Police?
