Bad Healthcare

Our family used the HealthPartners urgent care in Woodbury, MN over the weekend and after picking up the medicine the doctor prescribed, we read that it is considered dangerous and for a "last resort only." Well, we were at "first resort," so decided to take it back, unopened. CVS in Target, Valley Creek Plaza refused to take it back. Once it leaves, they said they can't take it back. So we asked them to dispose if it for us, and they refused to even do that. Eventually, a virtual visit with Minute Clinic got us a safe alternative. I sure am sorry to see all the Minute Clinics closing, because healthcare is pretty hard to access quickly--and then you can end up with the "last resort" doctor and dangerous unreturnable chemicals.
