So, the "master deal negotiator," Donald Trump, was going to try to extort $500 billion worth of mineral rights from Ukraine. There wasn't much in it for Ukraine, except Volodymyr Zelenskyy was going to do it if he could get some assurances of security for his country. At that point, Trump could not resist being a bully and talking down to a superior leader and human being. As a result, Zelenskyy did what any reasonable person would do, and left without signing the deal. Thus, the "great deal maker," Donald J. Trump, got nothing except World condemnation and confirmation that he's a useful idiot for Vladimir Putin.
