Ring Man

My son was supposed to be the ring man at my nephew's wedding on Saturday. My little boy is a year and a half old; so he is a bit young for this--but he was great! In fact, he walked up between the two flower girls holding hands with them and he did a good job. There was, however, no exit strategy--so when the girls released him he bolted for the door saying, "mom."

I had helped to "launch" him on this journey down the church aisle and so I went back toward the door to intercept him. He wasn't there and then someone pointed toward my wife's section of the church. When I got back to where she was sitting, my boy was standing on the church pew smiling at me as I walked up.
