Skinned Legs

My son wiped out on his bike today. He screamed when I cleaned the wound. I told him I didn't know what hydrogen peroxide was at his age. We just had isopropyl alcohol. My story didn't impress him much. Kind of like when I was his age, being (mostly) quiet while enduring the "flaming" liquid that would make me better--while thinking about how maggots were once used to clean wounds.

Oh, those were the days! Am I right?
