D-Day: 75 Years

Yesterday, as we all remembered the heroic men, thousands who died in a battle that changed history, I was also remembering a childhood friend who took his own life in June of 1977 when we were still children; and so I am a day behind in my post remembering the event of D-Day 75 years ago.

We have very few of the men who fought in WWII left with us today. If you have had the good fortune to know any of these men, as I have, you will forever be changed.
