Funnel Your Fennel

I was discussing the difference between pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce with Pete and Dave (from the band I'm in). The spice Fennel came up. I began to wonder if you were putting Fennel seed into a jar, if you might need a funnel? I decided that this would be called, funneling your fennel. Somehow, this combination of words sounded, "pornographic." If you funnel your fennel, does that make you a fennel funneler?
