I like it that in our technologically advanced society, you still use a toothpick to see if the banana bread is done. Shouldn't there be some kind of an electronic, computerized gadget that you connect to the bread to get a reading out on the scope?

There are some serious issues to deal with. Some people focus on the part that they can accept, and then keep ramming into the half they deny. Others deny the whole thing. Only a few have the courage to address the entire situation. These are the folks who most people hope will shut up.

As amazing as it sounds, COVID-19 seems to be a political disease. Many conservatives do not recognize it as a threat. Many people who lean to the right, are also unable to use masks and social distance. Even after becoming infected, some still can't recognize the seriousness of the pandemic. It is truly heartbreaking that this virus can prevent higher thinking in some individuals.
