I agree. When I heard they were discontinuing Little Sizzlers, I stocked up. I filled a third of my large (28 cu ft) stand-alone freezer with packages of Little Sizzlers in the hopes that, before I ran out, Hormel would change its minds and bring back the sausages that I have loved and eaten regularly since I was a child. I can remember my Mom teaching me to cook them when I was like 6 years old and that was almost 60 YEARS ago now! Unfortunately, I'm now down to my very last package.
Why do manufacturers do this kind of thing to their long time loyal customers? I just don't get it.
who knows but I am vindictive and I will never buy a Hormel product again.
Since they foolishly discontinued these, I have tried several kinds--they were all horrible compared with Little Sizzlers. Cub said they could not believe it as Sizzlers were their best selling sausage and they offer nothing to substitute.
these used to be the only link style sausages I could find anywhere, at least here in Texas. I noticed one day there were a couple of different brands in the store freezer but no little sizzlers. I thought to myself hormel must have taken them off the menu. and sure enough, here, I read about it. hormel makes a lot of products. there's stuff we all buy and don't realize hormel makes it. there has to be another product in their food production line that is not as formidable as those little guys were. shame, shame ,on you hormel. grandpa is turning in his grave and vows vindication unless you release those little rascals.
If you don't value your customers and their opinionson products then what's the point of doing business? Who's decission was it it? Was there any customer input? Or is it just a screw what the customer want's company! Well you just lost a customer!
I have been serving and eating little sizzles for decades and never have been disappointed until now! HORMEL.. BIG MISTAKE! You have lost a valuable customer and will never buy another product from you again.
Why would you take a good selling product off the shelf are you people that crazy. Put it back on the shelf or I'll never buy Hormel bacon or hot dogs or anything else ever again

I have no idea why you would discontinue such an iconic product as Little Sizzlers. There isn't a product out there that even compares to them in taste. This is probably just another management decision by someone that has no idea what he or she is doing. The reason has to be money, but what about brand loyalty? Many over educated people can't even grasp that concept.
I WAS an avid Hormel fan especially the little sizzlers. But since they took it upon themselves to discontinue that then I will discontinue Hormel too in it's entirety! Big mistake Hormel and what a big loss you're going to take!
I have been searching for my favorite Hormel Little Sizzlers for over a year. Finally quit looking. There is no other breakfast sausage worth buying.

You are as stupid as the Bisquick company when they got rid of the small biscuits. Not only I will not buy any Hormel products not that microwave meals not anything if you discontinue Sizzlers that was the one thing that got me into all the other Hormel Foods so if you don't think that's any important anymore fine with me but I will not buy Hormel again
I grew up with Little Sizzlers! The is no other sausage nearly as good as theirs. I am in withdrawl! WFT!
I am guessing there was a health issue, maybe Ebola or something I don't care just fix the issue and bring them back!!!!!!!!

I just found out today that Hormel’s Little Sizzlers were discontinued. No wonder I can’t find them anywhere. Best breakfast sausage ever, and it is discontinued. Stupid company.

I can't even express the disappointment and frustration over hormel discontinuing the little sizzlers. I had hoped that by now hormel would come to their senses and return the best product they ever had back to the shelves. But here we are, with no little sizzlers. We ate these many days every single week of our lives, especially the hot links, these were hands down the best links on the planet. Decades we ate little sizzlers. HORMEL, how could you remove the most popular product ever? Half the people I know ate these regularly. I know almost nobody that eats Spam, yet not only is it still on the shelves, you even advertise the heck out of it on T.v.. pork sizzle and mmm?? I will never eat spam no matter how much you advertise it, in fact looking at it on the commercials makes me want to eat it even less, what terrible advertising. What is wrong here, people want sausage links, not a ham product originally designed for the wwII effort, this was the worst marketing decision ever, the people responsible for this decision should resign or be terminated! Two years we have now bought sausage links from other manufacturers, please take the time to do the math and see how much money you have lost to your competitors. I always had hormel little sizzles in my freezer, and never ever have spam on the shelf. I really hope you rethink this terrible decision and return the beloved little sizzlers to the masses so that we can rejoice that something has returned to normal in our civilization. For the love of all that is good, RETUN LITTLE SIZZLERS AND ALL THE AWESOME FLAVORS! WE, THE PEOPLE, BEG HORMEL TO BRING BACK THIS AMAZING PRODUCT. How can you not see the revenue you have lost? We see it, you don't, just unreal how terrible decisions like this get made and stay unchanged even after the customers tell you repeatedly how much they loved and miss this product. But you always got spam right? Ugh!

I am not a big breakfast sausage person but my husband is. Hormel Little Sizzlers was the only brand I really liked and so does my husband. Very.sad they discontinued this product

Try "Farmer John's" sausages from Dollar Tree. Believe it or not they're almost identical to "Little Sizzler's".
Someone must have not done proper market research. Just by the replies here at this site it is obvious this was a product with a substantial consumer base and very high product loyalty. I emplore you to forward this data to cooperate management so that they can reassess their decision. I believe many, many more people would express the same views as seen here if they actually knew the product has been totally discontinued. Many like myself are probably in the dark as I was. All the the grocers I consulted in my area that previously sold the product had no idea why their stores no longer carried it much less that the product was actually totally discontinued.

Kinda like cutting your throat Hormel, you sell those ham patties in a can that nobody can find in the store that aren't that great and you take Little Sizzlers of the market which I bought all the time.

With so many loyal customers of this product I can't grasp the logic behind Hormel's decision to discontinue little sizzles. Someone in management is DUMB, DUMB,DUMB!!

I too was in disbelief that little sizzlers has been discontinued. They were the only breakfast sausage I would buy.
